Uploading photos
Upload photos in a post or keep them in your uploads library.
Formats and limits
JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP are supported. Check the upload screen for count and file-size limits. Your account has a storage allowance.
Visibility
Public photos are publicly accessible only when your profile audience is Everybody. Unlisted links do not override profile privacy or blocks. Private photos require authorized access. Previously downloaded copies cannot be revoked.
Processing
Photos are validated and resized for delivery. Publication depends on the configured approval provider and any moderation holds. Automatic approval is not a safety scan.
Deleting and changing photos
Deleting an image removes its delivery links. Making a post photo private or unlisted hides the post from other people. Keep your own backups.
Draft photos
Photos saved with a draft count toward your upload allowance and run through normal processing. While attached to a draft, only the owner can view them through ordinary delivery; signed links do not grant other people access. They cannot be made public in upload settings until published or removed from the draft. Removing the draft leaves its uploads private in your library.
